Why Should I Become a Member?

ERSİYAD is an “ASSOCIATION OF BUSINESSMEN” founded in Istanbul on May 5, 1990 by sensitive business people who set out for a TURKEY that is effective in its region and respected in the world, where right and law, justice and equality, peace and security, prosperity and happiness are ensured, where local and universal values that have cost history and society are protected and respected.

It is a “PLATFORM FOR DEVELOPMENT – COOPERATION – UNITY OF POWER” created to contribute to the social and cultural, political and economic, scientific and technological development of individuals and institutions, our country and society, our region and the world.

Since 1990, it is a strong “Non-Governmental Organization” representing more than 60,000 enterprises with more than 12,500 members in Turkey and abroad, providing employment for approximately 1,800,000 people, serving with 83 contact points in Turkey and 164 points in 81 different countries abroad, and conveying the problems, opinions and suggestions of its members to public institutions and organizations on site.

Our association, which has ISO 9001 Quality Certificate, has established its corporate identity and has a professional service understanding, has two parts of services for members, paid and free of charge. Services such as foreign trips and training seminars are provided for a fee. ERSİYAD members benefit from periodicals, information bank services, arbitration commission studies, services provided by committees and all association services within this scope free of charge. In general, these services are as follows:

Publication Services: As a businessmen’s association, ERSİYAD also tries to respond to the needs of both its members and the society through its publishing activities. For this purpose, ERSİYAD’s website (www.ersiyad.org.tr) and social media accounts provide services in the digital environment through its website and social media accounts, as well as in printed form with the Framework Magazine, various research reports, pocket booklets, catalogs and sector supplements.

a) Internet Publishing: ERSİYAD Headquarters announces its activities to the public and members through its website (www.ersiyad.org.tr) and social media channels, which are the new communication tools of the digital world.

b) Printed Publications:

Framework Magazine: One of its periodicals, “Framework”, is published in 2-month periods and its content usually consists of specific file topics. Current, political, social, economic, cultural, etc. The magazine, which covers any subject as a file, is a strategic magazine that includes the views and opinions of ERSİYAD on the subject it deals with.

Book Publishing (Pocket booklets, Research and Country Reports): Two important works within the publishing activities organized by ERSİYAD Research and Publication Commission are research and country reports that analyze different topics in depth and pocket booklets that provide practical information to our members. There is no specific publication period. They are published when deemed necessary and decided by the Board of Directors. To date, a total of 104 research reports, 100 Framework Journals and 38 pocket books have been published.

Market and Trade Development Services:

International Commercial Business Meetings: From time to time, businessmen delegations from different countries are hosted at ERSİYAD Headquarters and workshops are organized to enable business meetings with our members. Such meetings are open to all our members and are announced via fax, SMS or e-mail.

Foreign Trips and Foreign Market Information:

Foreign trips are organized to the countries determined by the Board of Directors in order to familiarize members with international markets and to create a basis for export. These trips are announced to members via fax, SMS, social media channels and the website. Members who wish can participate in foreign trips provided that they pay the cost. Translation, guidance and accommodation services of the members on these trips are organized by ERSİYAD.

Study-research trips are organized to various sectoral fairs organized abroad. These trips are also announced to members in digital environment. Members who wish to participate in the trips can participate provided that they pay the price.
Overseas trade and cooperation requests are evaluated and announced to the relevant members digitally.
Reports and statistics on target countries determined by the Board of Directors are prepared and made available to members. Members are informed on a digital basis.
Developments that are important for members in foreign markets, major fairs and commercial demands are announced digitally through the Foreign Relations Bulletin, which is prepared at least once a month. The same information is available on the website and social media accounts; members are provided with digital access.
Foreign Trade Seminars are organized when necessary.
Overseas market/product research requests of members are investigated to the extent possible and members are informed.
Meetings are organized with business delegations coming to our country from abroad and contacting the association to enable members to conduct business negotiations. The place and time of these meetings and the fields of activity of the delegation are announced to the members by fax, SMS or digitally.

Fairs The organization of the International ERSİYAD Fair (ERSİYAD EXPO) organized for ERSİYAD members is carried out and announced to the members. Members can participate in fairs provided that they pay the stand fee.

Educational Activities and Social Activities: ERSİYAD organizes training seminars for its members and the personnel they employ. The location of the seminars can be the center of the association or a meeting hall outside the association. These seminars are open to the participation of all members. Although seminars are generally paid, free seminars can also be organized. Seminars are announced to members digitally. In addition, special seminars can also be organized for the businesses of members who request it. Training activities for members are organized in the following categories:

In addition, Holiday Week programs for ERSİYAD members, etc. activities can be organized depending on the decision of the Board of Directors. The location, date and participation conditions of the programs are announced to the members digitally.
